Traci & Her Family

Family 10-11-09smI live, work and play in New Hampshire. I have traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Asia and there is no place I would rather call my home. My husband and I have taken our children to just about every tourist attraction we have found in the state. There are so many things to see and do that we tend to only duplicate trips every two to three years.

My favorite places to visit are the beaches in the summer, Mount Washington Valley in the winter, local parks where flowers are blooming in the spring and country roads through the mountains in the fall. Every season in New Hampshire is beautiful without exception.

In 2008, we purchased a new motor boat and we are looking forward to exploring New Hampshire’s flora and fauna from the the state’s many lakes.

Adrienne & Her Family

I’m a busy mom of two little girls, juggling work and family responsibilities and loving every minute of it.  I’m from the “big city,” but have lived in New Hampshire since 2003.

Having lived in large metropolitan areas my whole life, it’s especially lovely to experience the beauty of this state.  Every season offers new adventures:  gorgeous beaches in the summer, apple picking and leaf watching in the fall, sledding in the winter and going to parks in the spring.

Holidays are magical here, with special celebrations year-round.  My girls love the beautiful light displays around Christmas, pumpkin festivals and haunted houses for Halloween, fun community-based Easter egg hunts in the spring and magnificent fireworks displays for 4th of July.

We’ve found that living in New Hampshire offers tons of child-friendly opportunities.  We’re within a short drive of beaches, mountains, parks and just an hour from Boston.  There are so many great things to do with our girls, from family-friendly restaurants to wonderful playgrounds and amazing children’s classes (our current favorites are art, gymnastics, tennis and cooking.)  We also enjoy cultural activities together, including plays and concerts geared towards kids.

My girls’ very favorite things to do include:  summer beach days, going on the Fairy House tour held annually in Portsmouth and visiting Storyland, a local amusement park.

And I’m having a blast finding new adventures for us to experience together.  I look forward to sharing our favorites with you.
